Asus Eee PC 1201T vs. Lenovo ThinkPad X100e Posted: 09 Feb 2010 07:35 AM PST Two of the latest CULV notebooks we’ve reviewed recently, the Asus 1201T and ThinkPad X100e, sported the single-core AMD Athlon Neo processor and ATI Radeon HD3200. We ran some benchmarks to compare the two and found out some interesting results. While on the CPU side, both notebooks practically has the same chip, the ATI Radeon HD 3200 doesn’t look the same. Just look at the GPU ID below: ![]() ![]() We compared PassMark results between the two notebooks: The big difference can be seen between the Radeon HD3200 GPU. That’s because of the memory allocation (256MB on Asus & 336MB on Lenovo) as well as the memory clock (200MHz/500MHz on Asus & 380MHz/333MHz on Lenovo). Now that’s odd and don’t know how that came about. At least, if we look at the performance of the GPU, we know which one has the better one. Asus Eee PC 1201T specs: Lenovo ThinkPad X100e specs: The Asus has an SRP of Php21,900 and the ThinkPad X100e is Php28,990 — both having no OS pre-installed. We got more PassMark results for the ThinkPad X100e here and the Eee PC 1201T here. Related posts:
